LiftsPlus.com accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa which will be accepted upon checkout online or when purchasing over the phone. Checks are accepted but have to be payable to LA Equipment Services. We accept company card, however we do not accept wire transfers, money orders, personal/cashier checks, or any other payments not listed above. We do not accept COD or take manufactuerers' coupons.
Orders Subject to Sales Tax.
Sales tax does not apply to purchases made by entities, institutions, or departments affiliated by the United States Government. Documentation of one of the following is required to receive this exemption:
• federal tax ID certificate
• certificate of exempt status
•photocopy of your qualified U.S. government credit card (Smart Pay Card)
• government voucher
• check from the U.S. Government payable to LA Equipment Services
Items purchased for the intentions of reselling are not subject to sales tax provided the purchaser provides the adequate information. Items being purchased by a reseller without the intention of reselling are not tax exempt.
A resale certificate must be provided with the following information to be tax exempt:
• name and address of the purchaser
• number of the seller's permit held by the purchaser
• a description of the items to be purchased
• a statement that the described product is being purchased for resale
• date of the document
• signature of the purchaser or someone approved to act in his or her behalf
This necessary information for this exemption can be submitted before or after placing the order via fax (800-669-7554) or through email. If it is submitted after the order, we will refund the sales tax paid on the transaction.
